Springtime Synonyms… Message from the Executive Director
Dear Friends, Partners, and Supporters of LNRP:
Spring has sprung – and with it, all the requisite synonyms we all use to describe this time of year.
Rebirth
Reawakening
Renewal
Rejuvenation
Regeneration
Revival
and yes, Restoration
All of the above words certainly connect intimately to our LNRP mission. Really, they capture the essence of the transformative community-focused, conservation-based work we do with our partners, friends, and supporters like you.
In 2023, we celebrate the impact of the work we’ve been doing together – for 20 years!
As you’ll read in this Spring e-newsletter, that work continues, partly because there is so much good work for us still to do, but also partly because of the good work we’ve done for the past two decades. Our work together in the communities we serve, from Ozaukee County to Door County and inland to Lake Winnebago, has enabled us to build authentic relationships with community leaders, industry stakeholders, and critical funders – relationships founded upon trust in our ability to deliver real, lasting results and effective, essential change. Our LNRP Team is proud of that – and grateful for YOU!
So, please join with us this year, as we celebrate LNRP turning 20 years old, and create new land and water impacts in the communities we call home. Transformative restoration requires time, passion, patience, vision, and yes, true partners in mission. We need you now more than ever.
Ultimately, we help restore land and water – one area at a time – and when you give to LNRP, that’s what YOU do. You do it with us, for future generations, so they, too, can enjoy our most special open spaces and treasured natural resources. That is a powerful and lasting impact!
On behalf of our LNRP Team, thanks so much. We are truly grateful for your trust, passion, partnership and generosity!
With gratitude,
Tom Mlada
LNRP Executive Director
