Meet the New Director of Projects Amy Lentz
Amy Lentz joins the LNRP team with 8 years of experience in non-profit work, primarily in Milwaukee County. Those positions focused on environmental education, youth mentorship, and science communications, as well as political organizing. She has a M.S from UW- Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences and a B.S from UW-Madison in Environmental Science and History. During both her career and education, Amy concentrated on how communities interact with their environment, and how we can work together to make that connection more sustainable, both for the health of our people and our earth.
Outside of work, Amy stays busy in Milwaukee with her many house plants and shockingly high energy dog, Casper. She likes to go on hikes by Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River, keep up to date on movies and pop culture, and is (trying) to learn how to make furniture.
