With LNRP and our Partner Groups, there are many opportunities available to contribute your time and talent. We love our volunteers because of the passion, dedication, and energy they bring to our conservation work!
As an LNRP volunteer, you can make a very real difference for our organization, a Partner Group project, or one of the programs we lead in the communities we proudly serve. When you give of your time and abilities, we want to know about it so we can celebrate you and inspire others to do the same! And, because some grant funding is easier to secure when we are able to demonstrate our Board, our Partner Groups, and our supporters are invested in our work, your sharing of volunteer information enables us to leverage your generosity.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
LNRP collaborates with many industry and stakeholder professionals to advance our community-based conservation work. These professionals have a tremendous impact on the success and sustainability of our projects and programs. And, some of them even go further and donate their professional service time in support of our efforts. We are so grateful for this extraordinary generosity and the investment it represents!
Professional time and services donated to a non-profit organization have to be recorded as revenue based on their fair market value. Fair market value is the compensation you would receive if selling the time or services instead of donating it. Tracking this information is important to our organization, because we can leverage your generosity as we pursue additional grant funding. In that way, you can actually expand your initial conservation impact!

IN-KIND DONATION
Sometimes, our friends and supporters wish to support LNRP or our Partner Groups by donating goods. Donations of tangible goods such as equipment, books, and supplies have to be recorded as revenue based on their fair market value. Fair market value is the price you would receive if selling the goods instead of donating them. We appreciate this thoughtful generosity, and we of course want to celebrate and thank you for it!

Adopt-A-Park
The Adopt-a- Park program was created to give citizens of all ages an opportunity to volunteer in our village, city, county, and state parks. Their time spent doing upkeep, cleaning, maintenance, beautification, and preservation of our park helps to provide a safer, more beautiful park experience for the entire community. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the program; individuals, families, churches and businesses can all do their part to help maintain and improve our parks.
