Join Restoration of Our Trees Sheboygan (ROOTS) in celebrating the kickoff of collaborative projects with local municipal governments to combat the devastation caused by emerald ash borer (EAB) infestation.
Leaders from the Village of Elkhart Lake Board, Tree Commission, and Fire Department; along with representatives from the Sheboygan Rotary Club, and Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership will speak to the significance of these projects and participate in a tree planting ceremony.
The Village of Elkhart Lake EAB Mitigation Project includes the planting of 50 substantial size non-ash trees in Village Park Square, Lions Park, Fireman’s Park and along Village parkways or thoroughfares, with a total project value of over $13,000.
