Valley Creek - Port Washington

Like most Lake Michigan coastal communities, the City of Port Washington is significantly impacted by environmental stressors related to warmer, longer growing seasons, milder winters, increased frequency of heavy precipitation, lake-level changes, erosion, and the amplification of ecosystem stressors such as pests and invasive species.

LNRP is working with the City of Port Washington and other stakeholders to address water quality, flooding, and related issues across the Valley Creek watershed of Valley Creek within the City The project builds upon the City’s ongoing multi-phase stormwater management initiative.
