Welcome LNRP's New Director of Partnerships and Programs
In November, our LNRP Team welcomed Natalie Dorrler-Hyde as our new Director of Partnerships and Programs! Natalie joined LNRP after over a decade of experience working in environmental and conservation organizations throughout Wisconsin and beyond. Her roles have ranged from interpretive education and land management to administration and fundraising – and her impact in those roles has been impressive.
“As our Search Team visited with Natalie, we immediately recognized her energy and enthusiasm for collaborative conservation work,” said Tom Mlada, LNRP Executive Director. “She is highly accomplished and acclaimed, and will be a valuable member of our Team as we continue to advance our land and water conservation impact in the years to come.”
A Wisconsin native, having lived much of her life in the state’s Niagara Escarpment region, Natalie holds a strong appreciation for the treasure that is this significant natural resource.
Natalie is a self-proclaimed “connector” and loves introducing people of all ages to opportunities, experiences, and one another, particularly in the outdoors.
“Serving as the Director of Partnerships and Programs with LNRP is especially exciting because it offers a serendipitous intersection of my professional experience and personal passions,” she said. “I am so excited to connect with our LNRP Partners and begin to build upon their inspiring community-based conservation successes.”
Natalie holds a M.S. in Education with a focus in Environmental Education from Concordia University Wisconsin (2011) and a B.S. in Biology from UW-Stevens Point, with minors in Water Resources and Natural Resource Management (2008).
Beyond her career, Natalie enjoys all things outdoors (hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking), is a wanna-be homesteader (gardening, cooking, canning, fermenting, etc.), and never seems to find enough time to travel as much as she’d prefer. Like all good Wisconsinites, she also enjoys a craft beer and a bratwurst while watching the Brewers and Packers games.
