After careful consideration, the Friends of Crescent Beach have made the difficult decision to cancel the annual Soar on the Shore kite fly and beach party that was scheduled for August 22nd. We look forward to being back next year with the support of the wonderful sponsors and volunteers that have made so many great memories possible. While we won’t be making and flying kites, painting beach rocks, making windsocks, getting our faces painted, making beach mosaics, swaying to the music or creating plein air masterpieces with paint or sidewalk chalk together this year, we encourage you to enjoy doing your favorites on your own or with your friends and family. We will continue to share ideas for beach fun in the sun and if circumstances permit, offer other ways to celebrate together.
