Educating Girls and Reducing Food Waste: Two powerful weapons in the fight against global warming.

We will present two videos featuring Katharine Wilkinson, VP of Communications and Engagement at Project Drawdown. She will explore how the education of girls and reducing our food waste can have a big impact on our climate. According to Project Drawdown, these are two of the top 10 solutions to combat climate change. Both videos will be followed by an open discussion with Roy Thilly, Climate Change Coalition of Door County - Steering Committee Co-Chair.

A free event open to the public including video presentation and group discussion.

The Climate Change Coalition of Door County’s mission is to educate the public and local communities on the effects of a warming planet and the practical solutions to creating a more hospitable environment for all.
