LNRP’s Covid-19 Policies
SUSPENSION OF ALL LNRP EVENTS
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, + COLLABORATOR MEETINGS
THROUGH THE END OF APRIL.
The LNRP will be complying with Governor Ever’s Emergency Orders regarding this pandemic.
March 25, 2020
Dear LNRP Board, Staff, Partners, Friends, and Colleagues:
This week, State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm and Governor Tony Evers issued Emergency Order #12 – the “Safer at Home” Order – in an effort to further mitigate the spread of the deadly COVID-19 outbreak.
Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP) fully supports this course of action by the Governor and his Administration. Accordingly, effective immediately, we extend our previous suspension all planned workshops, seminars, and collaborator meetings to be held indoors to now include all planned events, activities, and gatherings to be held outdoors as well.
In line with previously-issued CDC recommendations and the timeframe defined via the Safer at Home Order, this suspension will extend through the end of April. In the meantime, we continue to strategize how to best reschedule our planned events and activities.
LNRP encourages our Regional Network, Watershed Group, and Community Group Partners to adopt this same policy.
Our nation continues to face a serious challenge, and as we all know, to overcome we must be united in a spirit of community. At our core, LNRP is all about community; cultivating it is an intrinsic part of our stewardship mission. Together, let us be the best stewards of community we can possibly be, and do all we can to take good care of the things in life that matter absolutely the most – one another. As always, LNRP stands ready to help.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via email or mobile. Thank you for your continued partnership!
In community,
Tom Mlada
Executive Director
Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP)
We encourage all of our partners below to adopt this or create similar policies regarding the Covid-19 viral pandemic.
