Waters Edge Artists Paint-Out for Friday & Saturday, August 6-7, 2010:

Where: Sunset Park
            N Third Avenue
            Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235
Sturgeon Bay is located on the Door County Peninsula and the first town you come to once you cross the bridges.

Directions

  • From the North or West: Take Hwy 42/57 from Green Bay to Sturgeon Bay (35-40 minutes) ;
  • From the South: If coming from the south take CTH S from Algoma or HWY 42 from the Algoma/ Kewaunee area to 42/57.

Once you have reached city limits on HWY 42/57, past  Walgreen's, take the right hand business district exit into downtown Sturgeon Bay. At end of exit go right onto South Madison Avenue then right (at light) onto E Maple Street over new downtown bridge. Once over bridge take a left onto 1st Street. Continue on 1st Street, you'll pass Stone Harbor Resort then end at N 3rd Avenue. Go left on North 3rd Avenue passing Bay Shipping on the left. There are 3 entrances. The first one says Sail Training Foundaton/Sunset Park, the second Sunset Park (take this entrance), the 3rd entrance takes you to an inner lagoon.

  • Saturday, September 11 --  Fall Food & Energy Fest, Niagara Escarpment at Ledge View Park, just outside Chilton, Calumet County
